Richard Lindner (1901 - 1978)

Two Women color serigraph, 1978 hand signed in pencil by Denise Lindner lower right margin numbered in pencil from the edition of 175 lower left margin (also 25 artist's proofs A.P. I-XXV and 12 sample copies H.C. 1-12) plate size 44" x 34" (112 x 86 cm.) paper size 48" x 38" (122 x 96.5 cm.) with the Styria Studio blindstamp published and printed at Styria Studios, New York Provenance: Adi Rischner, Styria Studio, New York Lindner supervised the creation of this edition from June 1977 through April 1978 and signed the bon a tirer (good to print) impression but died soon after. The numbered edition was signed by his wife, Denise. This monumental serigraph is the final work in Lindner's printed oeuvre.
