Provenance:  Collection Michael Hasenclever, Munich Exhibited: L'aventure de Pierre Loeb, Musee D'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Jun 7 - Sep 16, 1979, no.33 L'aventure de Pierre Loeb, Musee D'Ixelles, Bruxelles, Oct 4 - Dec 23, 1979, no.33 Illustrated:  L'aventure de Pierre Loeb, Musee D'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, June-Sept 1979, p.61, no.33 The collaged element is a newspaper clipping (from Paris-soir, December 13, 1934) concerning an exhibition of Brauner's work held that year at Galerie Pierre.  Introduced by Andre Breton, it was Brauner's first solo exhibition in Paris. This artwork is accompanied by a photo-certificate of authenticity by Samy Kinge.
