A touring exhibition of works by a leading contemporary surrealist artist from Germany premieres at The National Arts Club in New York City from November 3-9, 2004. DIETRICH SCHUCHARDT, consisting of paintings, drawings, and hand-painted etchings spanning over 20 years, portrays a broad overview of the artist's oeuvre including several works not previously exhibited. Schuchardt's work is known for extraordinarily detailed draftsmanship depicting a world in which cycles of life, decay, and regeneration tightly bind man with nature. The 59 year old artist has exhibited in over 140 shows world wide. This will be the largest and most comprehensive exhibition ever held in the USA. A 24 page color catalog is available for $24.00 postpaid. |
